1. Who We Are
CoachellaPlusis an independent festival planning tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any festival organizer or ticket vendor. References to "we," "us," or "our" mean the operator of CoachellaPlus.
Questions or requests about this policy: danielsmithdevelopment@gmail.com.
2. What We Collect and Why
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in via magic link, we collect your email address. We use it to authenticate you, sync your watchlist and food picks across devices, and send you the sign-in link you requested. We do not use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.
2.2 Watchlist, Food Menu, and Preferences
If you are signed in, the artists and food items you save, plus any preferences you configure, are stored in your account. This data exists solely to power your personal experience and sync it across your devices.
2.3 Product Analytics
We collect limited analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This includes:
- Feature interaction events (for example, toggling a watchlist item or opening a share link)
- Coarse page and feature context
- A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser to group events without identifying you personally
If you are signed in, some events may be linked to your account so we can improve the signed-in experience. We do not use analytics data for cross-site advertising profiling.
2.4 Payment Information
Paid plans are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive payment details on our systems. We receive a confirmation of your purchase and plan tier. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled on their end.
2.5 Location Data
Group features include optional location sharing. If you choose to share your location, that data is transmitted to us solely to display it to the members of your private group. We do not store persistent location history. Location data is not used for any other purpose.
2.6 Chat Messages
Festival chat and group chat messages are stored to deliver them to the intended recipients and to allow us to moderate the Service for safety and compliance. Messages may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period after deletion.
2.7 Notification Tokens
If you enable browser push notifications, we store a notification token associated with your device in order to deliver set-time reminders and group chat alerts. You can revoke this at any time through your browser or device settings.
2.8 Technical and Log Data
Like most web services, our servers may automatically collect basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and referring URL for security and operational purposes. This data is not used to identify you for marketing.
2.9 Map Assistant Questions and Context
If you use Map Assistant, we process your question text and a limited recent conversation window to generate answers and citations. When enabled by us, this may include retrieval against local knowledge data, AI generation via a model provider, and optional live web search fallback.
On your device, map assistant conversation history may be stored in browser local storage to preserve context between refreshes. You can clear this by clearing site data in your browser settings.
2.10 Food Runners Waitlist and Role Preference
If you join the Food Runners waitlist, we collect the contact details and preference data you submit (for example, email, optional name, weekend, optional notes, and whether you are interested in ordering food delivery or delivering food to others for compensation).
We use this data to plan launch capacity and send role-targeted launch communications (for example, attendee order access updates versus runner onboarding updates). You can opt out of non-essential waitlist emails at any time by contacting us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data described above to:
- Operate and deliver the features of CoachellaPlus
- Authenticate you and sync your account across devices
- Send you sign-in links and, where enabled, push notifications you have requested
- Display shared content to your private group members
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Provide map assistant responses, source citations, and relevance improvements
- Analyze feature usage in aggregate to improve the Service
- Comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
4. Who We Share Your Information With

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
5. Data Retention
- Account and watchlist data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
- Analytics events are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized.

- Store your watchlist locally if you are not signed in
