Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Agreement

By accessing or using CoachellaPlus(the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. When you request a magic-link sign-in, you must confirm that you have read and agree to these terms before we send the link; completing sign-in records acceptance with a timestamp in your account metadata for our records.

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. For material changes, we may prompt you to acknowledge again when you next sign in.

The Service

CoachellaPlus is an independent planning tool for festival lineups, food picks, and related features, including map and amenity discovery tools. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any festival or ticket vendor. Schedules, artist listings, map details, and third-party links may change without notice. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Map Assistant and AI features

Some map and logistics features may include AI-assisted answers and optional live web fallback. These features may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or stale. You agree to independently verify important details using official sources before relying on them.

By using these features, you authorize us to process your prompts and limited recent conversation context through our AI and search providers to generate responses and citations. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or health information.

AI/map responses are provided for convenience only and are not legal, medical, emergency, or safety-critical instructions. In emergencies, follow official festival guidance and local emergency services.

Accounts & your content

Optional sign-in may be available to sync preferences across devices. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You retain rights to content you create (for example, your watchlist or notes stored locally or in your account). You grant us only the rights needed to operate, host, and improve the Service for you.

Paid plans, billing, and gifts

Some features require a paid plan (for example, creating a private festival group and higher group member caps). Billing is processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe), not directly by us. Prices, taxes, and payment methods may vary by location and may change in the future.

Unless required by applicable law, purchases are final for the season in which they are sold. Group+ gift assignments are intentionally permanent once issued; they cannot be revoked, exchanged, or reassigned after claim.

We may suspend, delay, or reverse feature access when required to address fraud, chargebacks, payment disputes, abuse, platform errors, or legal compliance.

Community chat (festival & groups)

Festival chat is available only to signed-in users. It is not a public-by-default feed: you must be authenticated to read or post. Messages may be visible to other signed-in users of the Service. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Group chat is available only to the owner and accepted members of that festival group. Messages in group chat are shared with those members only (not the entire festival chat audience). The same conduct expectations apply.

We may use automated and manual tools to protect the Service, including rate limits, optional per-user blocks(hiding another user's messages from your own view in festival chat), and moderation (for example, revoking access or removing messages) for violations or abuse. You understand that chat is not guaranteed private from the operator and that we may process and retain messages as needed to run and secure the Service and comply with law.

You may be able to delete your own messages in some chat surfaces. Deletion requests are applied to active systems, but copies may remain in backups, logs, or security records for a limited period.

Location sharing, reminders, and notifications

Group features may include optional location sharing (including map links) and optional notifications (for example, set reminders, group chat alerts, or hydration reminders). If you choose to share location, you authorize us to display that shared location to the intended recipients in your group.

Location data may be imprecise, delayed, or unavailable. Notification timing and delivery depend on your browser/device settings and network conditions. These features are for convenience only and are not emergency, safety, medical, or navigation services.

Food Runners waitlist and prelaunch messaging

Food Runners may be offered as a prelaunch or limited-release feature. By joining the waitlist, you agree that we may contact you with role-targeted updates based on your selected interest (ordering food delivery or delivering food to others).

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee feature availability, acceptance as a delivery runner, earnings, delivery volume, or specific launch timing. We may change eligibility, rollout scope, pricing/fees, or availability by location and event conditions.

If and when paid runner functionality launches, additional terms, onboarding requirements, and safety rules may apply before runner access is granted.

Product analytics & improving the Service

We collect limited product analytics to understand how the Service is used—for example, which features are popular, whether flows work as intended, and how we can improve performance and reliability. This may include event names (such as toggling a watchlist item or opening a shared setlist), coarse page context, and a random identifier stored in your browser to group events without knowing who you are. If you sign in, some events may be associated with your account in our systems so we can improve signed-in experiences.

We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve CoachellaPlus. We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not use analytics for cross-site advertising profiling on your behalf.

Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example, hosting/CDN, authentication, payments, mapping links, AI model providers, web search providers, notifications, and music integrations). We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or acts/omissions of third-party services, and your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know certain information about our collection and use of personal information, the right to request deletion of personal information we hold (subject to exceptions), and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise privacy rights that may apply, contact us using the email below. We will verify reasonable requests as required by law.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING CALIFORNIA LAW), CoachellaPlus AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where preempted by federal law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

We may suspend or terminate accounts or access to features for violations of these terms, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or to protect the Service and other users.
